உலகத்தில் உள்ள அனைத்து ஆன்மாக்களும் வீடுபேறு அடைய வேண்டி பரமகருணாமூர்த்தியாகிய சிவபெருமான் வேத-சிவாகமங்களை அருளியுள்ளார். சிவபெருமானின் அருள்மொழிகளாகிய அவ்வாகமங்களில் சொல்லிய வண்ணமும், ஸந்தானகுரவர்கள், ஸமயகுரவர்கள், 63 நாயன்மார்கள் வழியில் சைவநெறியை பின்பற்ற விரும்பும் வண்ணமும், தனது வாழ்க்கையை வாழ விரும்பும் அனைவரும், முதலில் ஓர் (சிவ) ஆசார்யரை அணுகி சிவதீக்ஷை பெற்றுக் கொள்ள வேண்டும்.
இத்தீக்ஷையானது பல நிலைகளில் பலவகையாக விதிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. இங்கு நாம் செய்வது ஹௌத்ரீ எனும் வகையான ஸமயதீக்ஷை இதில் கும்பம், மண்டலம், குண்டம், ஆசார்யர், சிஷ்யன் ஆகிய ஐந்து இடங்களிலும் சிவபெருமானைப் பூஜித்து, மந்திர உபதேசம் செய்விப்பதாகும். இதனால் தீக்ஷை பெற்றுக்கொண்டவர்கள் தீக்ஷையின் பயனாலும் அதன்பிறகு அவர்கள் மேற்கொள்ளும் தவவாழ்வினாலும் அஞ்ஞானம் விலகி சிவஞானம் சித்திக்கும். சிவபெருமானின் மீது அபரிதமிதமான பக்தி உண்டாகும்.
இத்தீக்ஷையைப் பெற்றுக்கொள்வதால் மட்டுமே மந்திரம் சொல்லி முறையாக ஸ்னானம் செய்வதற்கும், நித்யகர்மங்களைச் செய்வதற்கும், சிவபெருமானின் திருவடிமலர்களை முறையாக தியானிப்பதற்கும், சிவபூஜைக்குப் பணிவிடை செய்வதற்கும், விசேஷதீக்ஷை பெற்றுக் கொள்வதற்கும் அதிகாரம் ஏற்படும்.
அளவிட முடியாத மகிமைகள் கொண்ட ஸ்ரீமத் அபீதகுசாம்பிகை ஸமேத ஸ்ரீஅருணாசலேச்வரரின் பரம கருணையினால் நிகழும் மங்களகரமான விச்வாவஸு வருடம், ஆனி மாதம் 01ஆம் நாள், ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமை (15.06.2025) ஷடசீதி புண்யகாலத்தில் திருவண்ணாமலை புண்யக்ஷேத்ரத்தில் நடைபெற உள்ளது. மேற்படி வைபவத்தில் மெய்யன்பர்கள் அனைவரும் கலந்துக்கொண்டு சிவதீக்ஷை பெற்றுக்கொண்டு சிவஞானப் பெருவாழ்வு வாழ அன்புடன் அழைக்கின்றோம்.

for devotees who wish to follow Siddhanta Shaivism properly
Lord Śiva, the embodiment of supreme compassion, revealed the Vedas and Śivāgamas for the liberation of all souls in the world. These sacred Śivāgamas, which are His divine teachings, emphasize the path of Śaivism as followed through the lineage of spiritual teachers, sectarian preceptors, and the 63 Nāyanmārs. Those who wish to embrace and live according to the Śaiva tradition are required to first approach a (Śiva) Ācārya and receive Śiva Dīkṣā (initiation).
This dīkṣā is prescribed in various forms and stages. Here, we focus on Hautrī or Samaya Dīkṣā, which involves the worship of Lord Śiva through five components: the kumbha (sacred pot), maṇḍala (diagram), kuṇḍa (fire altar), Ācārya (preceptor), and śiṣya (disciple). In this process, the disciple is initiated into the mantra. Through this initiation, and the subsequent ascetic life the disciple leads, ignorance is dispelled, and Śiva-jñāna is attained, cultivating profound devotion toward Lord Śiva. Receiving this initiation is a prerequisite for the proper chanting of mantras, performing snānam, undertaking daily duties (nitya-karma), meditating on the divine feet of Lord Śiva, offering service in Śiva Pūjā, and eventually qualifying for special initiations (Viśeṣa Dīkṣā).
By the boundless grace of Śrīmat Abhītakuśāmbikā Sameta Śrī Arunācaleśvara, this auspicious Śiva Dīkṣā Vaibhavam is set to take place during the Śaṭaṣīthi Puṇyakāla on Sunday, 15th June 2025 (Āni Mādam 1), in the sacred temple town of Tiruvannamalai. We cordially invite all devotees to participate in this grand occasion, receive Śiva Dīkṣā, and embrace a life filled with divine Śiva-jñāna.
Devotees who wish to receive Dīkṣā are required to fill out and submit the Dīkṣā Application Form available on the website www.sivaagama.org.
